Menu Plan Monday: September 5-11, 2011

September 5, 2011

No comments from my last menu — that was one vacation and one hurricane ago, and I barely remember it. I didn’t fix anything new that week anyway. So here’s to a new week…

Monday — Seeing as how it’s 4:15 Monday when I’m typing this and I’m neither hungry nor inspired, I’m going to cop out and say sandwiches for those who are hungry.

Tuesday — Setting up the crock pot with Cheesy Mexican Chicken.  (New recipe!)  Serving with Spanish rice.

Wednesday — Sophia’s school is having a fundraiser night at Sonic, so we’ll be getting dinner there.

Thursday — Making lasagna — half for us, half for a church family that just welcomed a baby.  Serving with Caesar salad and garlic bread.

Friday — I think we will have Family Movie Night since we haven’t done that in a while.  Finger food & Soul Surfer.

SaturdayOld Fashioned Chicken & Dumplings.  Except I will probably make Cracker Barrel style dumplings instead of Paula’s.

Sunday — leftovers or snacking.
