Menu Plan Monday: December 6-12, 2010

December 6, 2010

Comments on last week’s menu: The Tuna Casserole recipe was a keeper!  I modified it a little (used fusili instead of egg noodles, onion powder and water instead of onions) and it actually had some flavor!  Dan requested that the next time we have it, I double the amount of tuna fish in it because it was a little pasta heavy. I didn’t make the Chocolate Cream Cheese Peanut Butter Bars — will have to try them some other time.  I cooked a lot last week, which is good, because this week will be just the opposite…

Monday Monte Cristo sandwiches and salad.

Tuesday — banquet at church.

Wednesday — fast food before the church’s quarterly business meeting.

Thursday Stromboli with Caesar salad.

Friday — we are hosting a small Christmas party for our church cell group and other friends.  Hors d’oeuvres/finger foods.  I’m making two types of cookies, cheese-sausage balls, a Festive Ham and Cheese Wreath, and baked brie.

Saturday — Parents night out at our church — we are dropping off the kids and grabbing five hours of child-free dining and shopping bliss.  Yay!

Sunday — leftovers or snacking.
