Menu Plan Monday: August 30 – September 5, 2010August 30, 2010
Comments on my last menu: The Murphy’s Hot Hamburger was yummy, and a big hit with Dan. I think, though, that the next time I make it I will use frozen French fries. I just didn’t like the way mine turned out — some soggy, some burnt to a crisp. Also, I used super lean beef, which meant there wasn’t much of a base for the gravy. I may try a fatter variety next time to see if that helps. Otherwise, no complaints. It was delish!
This week will be busy — kids are heading back to school and I am trying to put my house back in order after having the floors refinished (and most household contents moved to a different location).
Monday — Tater Taco Casserole served with a southwestern salad. Eating half of the casserole and freezing the other half for later.
Tuesday — Easy Flavorful Pot Roast in the crock pot. Serving with mashed potatoes and mixed veggies.
Wednesday — giving myself a break and going out for dinner before cell group.
Thursday — Italian Baked Chicken with Pastina, served with Caesar salad.
Friday — Family Movie Night. Pizza!
Saturday — Priest Chicken, served with broccoli and rice.
Sunday — leftovers or snacking.
