Menu Plan Monday: August 9-15, 2010August 9, 2010
Comments on my last (pre-vacation) menu: The Polynesian Roast Beef is being carried over to this week since I forgot to set up the crock pot last week. The Italian Baked Chicken with Pastina was delicious. I couldn’t find pastina but I had some mini farfalle on hand, and they worked fine. Getting back to the reality of cooking & cleaning and working after being away for a week is going to be hard, so for the most part I will be sticking with tried and true, simple recipes this week.
Monday — spaghetti, Caesar salad, garlic bread
Tuesday — Polynesian Roast Beef in the crock pot. Serving it with rice and mixed veggies.
Wednesday — giving myself a break and grabbing a quick bite out before heading to our respective church activities.
Thursday — Trevor’s favorite chicken & rice, served with broccoli.
Friday — Family Movie Night! We’ll have light fare and watch All Dogs Go to Heaven.
Saturday — BBQ Pork for Sandwiches. Serve with french fries and mixed veggies.
Sunday — leftovers or snacking.
