Recently, I picked strawberries with my darling daughter.  I made the mistake of telling her that it was okay to eat a strawberry right there in the field.  Once I gave her permission, she found that strawberries are like potato chips… you just can’t stop at one.

We — and I use the term “we” loosely, because she was busy enjoying the all-you-can-eat strawberry buffet — picked three large buckets full.  I gave one to my mom, so that left me with two buckets.  It didn’t look like that much until we got home and I had to figure out what to DO with all those berries.

I tried a new recipe for The Best Strawberry Bread and it was good.  I made one loaf for us, one for our cell group, and two for the youth group at church.  Trevor particularly liked it, which surprised me.  (I’m surprised any time he compliments my cooking.)

I also tried a new way of eating strawberries.  Dip them in sour cream and brown sugar.  I know, it sounds revolting but WOW is it good.  Try it today!
