Easy Girly Craft

May 12, 2010

My Brownie troop is in the midst of planning a women’s tea party.  I came across a craft for felt flower pins and I thought these would make great “corsages” for our guests.

First, cut a strip of felt approximately 1.5 by 10 inches:

Then cut one side of the strip with a scalloped or zigzag shape:

Then sew the ends of the strip together:

Run a loose, long stitch along the straight edge of the felt strip:

Go all the way around the strip:

Then pull the thread tight and knot it off:

Now you have your basic flower:

But wait!  There’s more!

Cut out a green felt oval.  Glue it and a pin back to the bottom side of the flower:

Flip it over, glue a pom pom to the center and… voila!

Cute, huh?

  1. Very!

  2. Way cute
