Menu Plan Monday: May 10-16, 2010

May 11, 2010

Comments on last week’s menu: The Chicken Caesar Wraps were a big hit… even my kids, who insist on eating veggies separate from all other foods, like them.  I even used green spinach tortillas.  Kudos to them for being so brave!  All of the other recipes last week were tried-and-true, so I recommend them as well.

Monday — Girl Scouts this evening, and my co-leader is doing dinner this time.  Yay!

Tuesday — quick & easy meal of chicken sandwiches, mac & cheese, and baked beans

Wednesday — fast food tonight before heading to our cell group meeting.

Thursday — new recipe night — Maryland Fried Chicken with Creamy Gravy.  Serving it with potatoes (mashed or baked) and broccoli.

Friday — making dinner for a church family with a new baby!  I’ll fix a double portion of baked ziti, garlic bread (well, not too garlicky for the new mama!) and Caesar salad.

Saturday — New recipe!  Crunchy Nacho Cheese Chicken Casserole, served with a southwest style salad.

Sunday — leftovers or snacking.
