Menu Plan Monday: April 5-11, 2010April 5, 2010
Comments on last week’s menu: The Stromboli was very good. I had difficulty with rolling out the dough but fortunately Dan’s teenage job experience as a pizza chef saved the day — he was twirling the dough up in the air and everything! 🙂 The Homemade Spaetzle was…. meh. It was really bland. Tasty, but bland. Also very labor intensive, since I didn’t have a spaetzle maker to speed things along.
On to this week — Due to circumstances beyond my control, I will be eating out more than I like to.
Monday — I have leftover chicken from a few days ago, so I will use it to make Chicken Florentine Pasta Bake. Yum!
Tuesday — Spaghetti, garlic bread, Caesar salad.
Wednesday — Overlapping activities this evening. Need to eat fast food. Blah.
Thursday — Evening appt. I’m not sure yet if we will eat out or scavenge for leftovers. Either way, I know I won’t have time to be cooking.
Friday — Taking the kids to see “How to Train Your Dragon.” Dinner out.
Saturday — Monterey Jack Turkey Burgers, oven fries.
Sunday — leftovers or snacking.
