Menu Plan Monday: March 1-7, 2010

March 1, 2010

Comments on last week’s menu: If you’ve never tried the Chicken Florentine Pasta Bake, you should really give it a try.  Last Thursday was the third time I’d fixed it and it was SO good.  The family that I took it to also loved it and asked for the recipe.  It takes a while to prepare but it is definitely worth it.

Now, on to this week’s culinary adventures:

Monday — Spaghetti, Caesar salad, garlic bread.

Tuesday — Sophia’s school is having a “Seuss on the Loose” program that includes dinner.

Wednesday — Last week we got dinner out before heading to our respective church activities, and it was much easier than rushing through a meal at home and running late.  We will hopefully repeat that success again this week.

Thursday — We have an early evening appointment.  The temptation to eat out will be strong, but since we’re doing that Wednesday, I think I will set up the crockpot instead.  We will have Easy Flavorful Pot Roast, served with baked potatoes and mixed vegetables.

Friday — I will be scrapbooking.  Dan and the kids will have light fare and watch UP, since we didn’t get to do that last week.

Saturday — Going to try a new recipe!  Chicken Cordon Bleu Pasta sounds pretty delish.  I’ll serve it with broccoli.

Sunday — leftovers or snacking.
