Menu Plan Monday: February 15-21, 2010

February 15, 2010

Monday — Spaghetti, garlic bread, Caesar salad.

Tuesday — I’m working today and I have an evening appointment, so it’s an ideal day for a crockpot meal.  I’ll fix Easy Chicken with Potatoes and serve it with broccoli.  The last time I made this, I had better results by adding some extra dressing and switching it to high a few hours before meal time.

Wednesday —  cell group this evening.  We will have a quick dinner of ham steak, pierogies, and mixed vegetables.

Thursday —  Our church is having its monthly ladies’ night out.  This will be the first one in a while that I’ve been able to attend… very much looking forward to it!  Dan and the kids will have the leftover Dorito Chicken that I froze a few weeks ago.

Friday — We are going to a benefit concert tonight, but will have time to eat dinner before hand.  I’ll set up the crockpot with BBQ Pork for sandwiches.  We will also have  french fries and baked beans.

Saturday Chili!  Gotta love a dinner that you can prepare in the morning and it will be ready whenever anyone wants to eat it.  🙂

Sunday — I’m going to another mom’s night out (different group of women).   Two ladies’ nights in one week — lucky me!

  1. Wow, you have a busy week! Sounds like you will get a couple of nights away from the kitchen! Thank you for the slow cooker meal. Sounds wonderful!

  2. […] Comments on last week’s menu: This was second time trying the Crockpot Chili recipe, and I still find it to be a bit bland. Sophia suggested I try making chili with black beans (which I love) instead of kidney beans (which she doesn’t like) and I think that’s a brilliant idea…. can’t wait to give it a shot! […]
