Menu Plan Monday: December 22-28, 2008December 22, 2008
Here’s what’s cooking this week:
Monday — Cheesy Chicken Penne (we didn’t have it last week).
Tuesday — A quick dinner before we go caroling with our cell group. We’ll keep it simple… chicken sandwiches, baked beans and mac & cheese.
Wednesday — Sophia is singing at the 5:00 church service. We will probably eat our big meal in the late afternoon… turkey breast, mashed potatoes, green bean casserole. Like Thanksgiving, but on a much smaller scale.
Thursday — Christmas morning! I will fix my traditional Raspberry Jubilee French Toast for a late breakfast. It is absolutely decadent, and it is made the day before then refrigerated overnight, so all I need to do Christmas morning is pop it in the oven.
Friday — We’re going to my mother-in-law’s house for her traditional Christmas meal of ravioli and Italian sausage.
Saturday — I’ll fix the second half of the chicken spaghetti that I made a few weeks ago.
Sunday — leftovers or snacking.
