Menu Plan Monday: November 10-16, 2008

November 10, 2008

Comments on last week’s menu: I was a total airheard on Tuesday.  I was so pleased with myself for remembering to set up the crockpot in the morning, I forgot to actually put the lid on it.  Unfortunately, I was not home much that day and I ended up not discovering my mistake until dinner time.  So we will try the Crockpot Chicken Supreme this week.  Again.  The meat loaf was quite good, and very easy to make.  Definitely a keeper.

Monday — Chicken sandwiches, macaroni & cheese, baked beans.

Tuesday — Eating on the run tonight due to Girl Scout meeting.

Wednesday — I have a Girl Scout leader training at 6:00.  Another night of dinner on the run for me, but I will have a Tater Tot Casserole ready for Dan and the kids.  Veggie will be green beans.

Thursday — Trevor’s favorite chicken & rice, served with broccoli.

Friday — Sophia’s school is having a Family Movie Night.  We’ll grab a quick bite to eat out before heading over.

Saturday — I will be at church for a women’s retreat most of the day, so I will set up the crockpot for the Crockpot Chicken Supreme once again.  This time I will remember to put the lid on the darned thing!

Sunday — leftovers or snacking.

  1. I just might try a variation of that tater tot casserole…you know me nothings sacred-I like adjusting recipes to what I actually have on hand. Thanks for these menus to spark new ideas!

  2. Your menu sounds great! I will have to give the Crockpot Chicken Supreme. It sounds good!

    Blessings,
