Menu Plan Monday

Comments on last week’s menu: The potato chip crusted chicken was quite good. It would have been even better if I hadn’t substituted Italian seasoning for basil. The Italian seasoning was a little overpowering, so basil is on my grocery list this week to prevent me from making any more disastrous substitutions. The Tastes Like Lasagna soup was WONDERFUL, quite a treat, and I will definitely be making it again. Click on “last week’s menu” to get the recipe for either of these dishes.

Now, on to this week….

MondayCalzones, salad

Tuesday — We have a Daisy Girl Scout meeting tonight, so I will fix spaghetti and green beans, then dash out the door and leave the dirty dishes for the guys to deal with. hehehe

Wednesday — 40 Garlic Clove Chicken, broccoli, skillet potatoes

Thursday — Paua Deen’s Hearty Meat Pies. If I really love it, I’ll share the recipe. It’s king of long and I don’t want to spend the time typing it up if I can’t highly recommend it.

Friday — dinner with my mom. I don’t have to cook!

Saturday — inviting folks over for dinner. Instead of doing a big “proper” meal, I think we’re going to go casual and have a make your own pizza thing with breadsticks and salad. Game night will follow after we eat.

Sunday — leftovers or snacking after church.
