What’s tasteless about his Halloween costume? Shall I repeat, HALLOWEEN COSTUME??? WTF! It’s Halloween (scary,gross and involoving death) Costume (make belive attire). Actually, given the occasion his attire was wholly appropriate. What’s your problem?

I particularly like this analogy for the Bible quote about being salt of earth. I’m reading a book all about salt through history which makes this even more apt. Maybe another book group read? Especially fun to start reading while sitting at the beach!

The meat loaf is very good and also makes great leftovers! It is, however, a little too rich & fatty for my tastes, so I have been experimenting a little each time I fix it to make it lighter. This week when I fix it I am going to use ground turkey instead of beef, and use slightly less cheese than the recipe calls for.
