Menu Plan Monday: December 8-14, 2008

Comments on last week’s menu: Our turkey leftover dishes, the Turkey Casserole with Havarti cheese and the Turkey, Ham & Swiss casserole were both well received by the family. Of the two, the latter was more popular. Neither one really thrilled me a whole lot, because when it comes right down to it, my favorite turkey leftover dish is a hot turkey sandwich.
Monday – Chicken spaghetti. I’ll cook half and stick the other half in the freezer for a future meal.
Tuesday – I think I will probably be up to my ears in total chaos Tuesday evening, so I’m keeping it simple and serving soup with grilled cheese sandwiches.
Wednesday – I will be with my dad in Baltimore as this is the day he is having surgery. I’m suggesting that Dan take the kids out to eat because they need to be at church at 6:00 for a church trip to look at Christmas lights.
Thursday – a friend from our former church is bringing dinner to Dan and the kids.
Friday – Movie night (even if I’m not here) with light fare. The movie will be Ring of Bright Water.
Saturday –If I’m still in Baltimore (likely), Dan and the kids will be coming up to visit.
Sunday – leftovers or snacking
