Comments on last week’s LACK OF a menu: Between being out of town part of last week and the holidays throwing everything into chaos, I didn’t do a menu plan. I have to admit, I was lost without one! Grocery shopping was more difficult, and evenings were more stressful because I had to figure out what to do about dinner. I didn’t like it one bit. This habit is here to stay!
Monday — I’m trying a new Paula Deen recipe, from The Lady and Sons, Too! cookbook. It’s Baked Spaghetti, and I will serve it with a Caesar salad and garlic bread.
Tuesday — Our big Girl Scout program is tonight. We will wolf down fast food or pizza before rushing off to set up.
Wednesday — ham, au gratin potatoes, broccoli
Thursday — Ree’s Chicken Spaghetti
Friday – I will be out of town for the day and am not sure what time I will get home, so I’m going to wing it.
Saturday — Inviting folks over for dinner. I’m gonna lay Paula Deen’s Herb Crusted Pork Loin on them, served with mashed potatoes and mixed veggies.
Sunday — leftovers and/or snacks as we get hungry

Looks good !! Never had Baked Spaghetti … will have to try it.
I love Paula Dean’s recipes. Everything I’ve made of hers has been great (not all that healthy, but great)
lol
Hey! I make a similar Baked Spaghetti recipe! I do mine with mozzarella, parmesan, and provolone though. I feel slightly better about my made up recipe since Paula makes one too! LOL!
The Pioneer Woman’s Chicken Spaghetti sounds exactly like my mom’s. Yummy stuff!
