Works for Me Wednesday: Transporting Cupcakes
October 31, 2007
Y’all, I have been waiting for a while to try this new gadget of mine out and I am so tickled with it! It’s a Cupcake Carrier that I ordered from The Lakeside Collection.
Now, normally I’m not a big fan of special-use items. I generally consider such things to be a frivolous waste of money because, hey, why buy something that you will only use a few times a year? However, I splurged on this cupcake carrier and I have to say, it is so worth it!
It holds 27 cupcakes, nice and snug in little indented cups. There are three stackable trays inside the carrier, each holding nine cupcakes. The lid snaps on securely and has a handle in the center. Honestly, I have no idea how I managed to transport cupcakes to school before I got this thing!

And the best part of all? It’s only $10!

Oh for cute! Looks like a handy little carrier!
Oh, this is Andy, by the way.
Oh, what kind did you make??
How much was shipping? It wanted me to put in my payment information before it would tell me how much shipping was, and that made me a little nervous, especially since the keeper is so inexpensive.
Wow, that’s really nice and compact, and inexpensive too. Thanks for the tip!

Andy — the cupcakes were orange colored cake with a fudge (black) swirl. Chocolate icing with chocolate chips and orange sprinkles. (Made for kindergarteners!)
Angie — I don’t recall how much the shipping was, and I ordered more than just this one item at the time. I don’t think it was outrageously high, though, because I’ve ordered from them before and too high shipping charges is one of my pet peeves. If it were crazy expensive, I wouldn’t have gone back.
that is the coolest thing i’ve seen all day! i must have one of those…cupcake carrying is such a pain!
Oh! I’ve been searching for this carrier so chn can enjoy cupcakes for picnics. I am in Singapore, can I get it here and where?
It looks like the site where I purchased it only ships within the US. Sorry.
