November 14, 2006My hair, left unrestrained by headband, barrette, or sunglasses, has a tendency to fall forward and cover the left side of my face. It’s done that ever since I was a kid, and my parents used to tell me that I looked like the glamorous 1940s actress Veronica Lake. So, here’s my best peekaboo hairdo in honor of Veronica Lake:
