What a Great Weekend!

Sophia and I took off on Friday to go visit my friend Joanne.  We had lots of time for girl stuff (shopping!) and of course scrapping.  I got eight pages done, bringing my year goal of 300 total pages a little closer within reach.

One of the coolest parts about visiting Joanne (aside from  spending time with a dear friend whom I don’t see anywhere near often enough!) was seeing the mountains!  What breathtaking scenery, especially from this hang-gliding site she took us to:

It was nice to see such a large area that wasn’t overdeveloped like so many places seem to be nowadays.  And as much of a wimp as I am when it comes to heights, being up there didn’t bother me a bit… it was just too beautiful.  (But I still didn’t get very close to the edge.)
