Works for Me Wednesday: Laundry Tip
May 24, 2006When we finish up a box of tissues, I take it down to the laundry room and put dryer lint in it after each load of laundry. (My tissue box trash can also holds used fabric softener sheets and those bits of paper and food wrappers that my son never empties out of his pockets before he puts his clothes in the laundry.) When the box is full, I just toss the whole thing and put a new empty one out.
Yeah, our family is something else for leaving stuff in their pockets. Thanks for sharing!

Oh my goodness – smart! I hate tracking the “lint crumbs” from the laundry to the bathroom!
i do this with the old laudry soap boxes. When i use up a big box i set it by the dryer and take the old one to the trash!
Ok – I just loved this idea!! My washer/dryer is in the basement and a kleenx box is so easy and small to bring up and throw away. THANKS!

Love this idea, I never thought of doing that, instead I just walk around dropping lint all over the floor until I reach the trash can. lol
